Wow! What a surprise! I didn't know this place existed until I saw a sign on the highway - planned to play 9 but decided to do 18 - same 9 holes but with different tee boxes - it changed the layout slightly. The place is very much like a home-town facility where they are accepting of beginners AND they want you to have a good time! The clubhouse has hot dogs & chips plus some homemade sweets but not much more - talked with some bar patrons and they treated me & my family like I have known them all of my life. Playing there was just an accident or "let's check this out" kind of thing. They don't appear anywhere online - just a yellow pages type of listing - maybe that is why we could play at the last minute. Too bad for them - good for us! Will plan on stopping next time we are headed to Hayward.
